If you or someone you know needs help, please see the below list of support services or contact your nearest Family Resource Centre.

HSE guidelines recommend that you never forget that when someone is focused on suicide, you need to find a helper who knows how to help – safety is the priority.

If someone is already injured or there is immediate danger, or if you are worried that you or someone you know is at risk of suicide or self-harm, you should immediately call the Emergency Services, contact your local doctor or go to the Accident and Emergency department of the nearest hospital.

You can find more details about local health services on the HSE website. Below are some helplines and professional support services available to help anyone thinking about suicide.
