Deirdre works within the Ballyspillane Community & Family Resource Centre, which covers the South Kerry Region. This catchment area includes Killarney Town & Municipal district areas, incorporating  Ballyspillane & Ballydribeen Estates, Muckross, Kilcummin, Ballyhar, Castlemaine, East Killarney, Glenflesk, Headford, Barraduff, Rathmore, Gneeveguilla and Killorglin.
