Marion Godley is one of our highly regarded and valued Health and Wellbeing Community Referral team. Marion works within the Kerryhead/Ballyheigue Family Resource Centre and covers the North Kerry area, including Ballyheigue, Causeway, Abbeydorney, Ardfert, Tralee and Castleisland.
Marion has always been involved in helping others navigate life's challenges and feels great satisfaction supporting others and her community to achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes. Marion thrives on seeing service users flourish and build connections.

"I am passionate about working to improve mental health and wellbeing. I believe a connection to other people is imperative in improving and maintaining good mental health. As such, I see social prescribing as a lifeline for members of the community that feel alone and isolated. I work in an area where rural isolation is a problem, and I can be asked to support service users who are prevented from joining groups and clubs because of a lack of transportation. In cases like these, I do my best to find some kind of alternative, but if that fails, I highlight the problem locally to raise awareness around the issue."
